The Miss Lilac Scholarship Program allowed me to pursue my dream of going to grad school. I started this past semester and have already learned so much. I would not have been able to start without the scholarship dollars I earned in this program.

I could not have asked for a better year representing the Miss Lilac State Scholarship Program as the first ever Miss Lilac State’s Teen. I went into competing a rookie, with not a clue what I was doing. However, the day I won I was awarded a total of $600 dollars! The scholarships I gained will help me strive for my goals of become a licensed pediatric psychiatrist! The support did not only come in the form of scholarship dollars…Miss Darlene and Dawn ensured that any and all questions I had would be answered, and that I always felt loved! They constantly reminded me how important I was and how proud of me they were. Holding the title meant the world to me, ever since I was a little girl in the Little Sisters, formerly known as Princess Program, Ive dreamed of being on the Miss New Hampshire’s Teen stage. Thanks to the help of Miss Dawn and Darlene as well as Cathy from Quest For the Crown I went into states feeling confident and ready! I will carry the memories and lessons from my year of service with me forever. Wherever I go I will always remember the Miss Lilac State family.

The Miss NH program has developed my leadership and communication skills and taught me that as a woman I can be both a driven changemaker while also being feminine and well-respected. This program has empowered me and taught me how to empower others.

My Social Impact Initiative is Putting the U in UNICEF. I work for children’s rights here in New Hampshire as well as globally. Our goal is to end child abuse by 2030! Let’s make children our priority…They are our future.
I am also a performing member of PTAC and the Palace Youth Theater. I love to perform! I’ve been singing since I was three years old and I can’t wait to sing on the Miss America’s Teen stage!
